Edgewood to Huddart. I left work somewhat earlier today and was on my way to Huddart by 6:30PM. I took on of my usual routes through Huddart, following Canyon trail to Crystal Springs Trail. I was 45 minutes in by the time I got there, which meant I would have to take the short route back to end up with something close to 12, as I was initially planning. I was feeling good, though, and decided to continue all the way to Skyline, which took another 20 minutes of climbing. I headed back down Richards road which was a shorter route but a much steeper descend. My legs definitely didn't appreciate the downhill part but it only took me 10 minutes to get back to Canyon trail and the rest of the way was a lot smoother. I made it back to the car in just under 1:48, which should be safe to call 15. I was once again surprised at how comfortable I felt running this kind of mileage on hilly terrain. Ordinarily I wouldn't run anything this long for at least another couple of weeks. As long as I'm comfortable with it I don't see any problems, even though this will probably end up being about a quarter of this weeks mileage.
